Dustin Ransom is an artist, performer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, and composer based in Nashville, Tennessee. He has released a number of soulful, genre-bending albums and EPs including 2015’s Thread On Fire, 2017’s Phases, 2019’s Frontiers, and his upcoming EP Songs From Big Pink, Vol. 1. He is currently working on his first full-length album in seven years, entitled Brothers, with Drew Holcomb’s band The Neighbors and acclaimed singer-songwriter/musician Gabe Dixon, to be released in the summer of 2026.

As a former sideman, he has collaborated and/or performed with many Grammy Award-winning and nominated artists including Stewart Copeland of The Police, Richard Marx, Amy Grant, Ryan Bingham, Jars Of Clay, Maggie Rose, and Dave Barnes, as well as artists including Chely Wright, Gabe Dixon, Ben Rector, Brett Eldredge, Jon McLaughlin, Matt Wertz, Jill Andrews, Jeremy Lister, K.S. Rhoads, Emily West, Thad Cockrell, Cody Belew, Them Vibes, Derek Webb, Melinda Doolittle, Rachael Lampa, Erin McCarley, Butterfly Boucher, Sarah Buxton, Shelly Fairchild, Ron Artis II, and more.

Ransom has composed and released over 1100 tracks of music designed for wellness and therapeutic modalities including meditation, yoga, stress relief, and sleep under the monikers Outside The Sky, Solus Vir, Son Nu, Restwaves, Kaleidocanvas, and Quiet Cassettes. He has written over 600 compositions that have been featured in hundreds of advertisements, TV shows, and independent films since 2016.
